Shine is an event that gives the SF community an opportunity to elevate awareness and raise critical funds to alleviate the issues that impact the lives of young women of color.

Since the event took place virtually in 2020, there was a push to generate more content to combat the decline of their usual word-of-mouth marketing. The brief was to craft a design that was inviting, abstract, and scalable. Pulling inspiration from the boldness and simplicity of Bauhaus posters, the overlapping motif was created to symbolize growth and radiation, while also introducing more youthful playfulness into the former design language.
